From Perusal to Performance ~ Dr. Ruby Morgan
In this lecture we will hear how we can strive for the ideal world in which a student learns everything correctly from the beginning and builds progressively toward a rewarding performance.
Dr. Morgan has combined a career of teaching and performing during her many years as Professor of Piano at Furman University. She was a member of the Artist-Faculty at Brevard Music Center for eight years and assisted at the Taubman Institute at Amherst and Williams Colleges for six years. Dr. Morgan holds a D.M. in Piano from Florida State University with further study at The Juilliard School (Professional Studies Program).

Master Class Showcase with GMTA Members' Students ~ Fabio Parrini
Fabio Parrini will work with students on aspects of their performances. This GMTA member is Professor of Music and Piano Coordinator at the Cline School of Music at North Greenville University.
He collaborates with Keowee Chamber Music, is a Steinway Artist, an active performer, and has released solo and chamber music recordings. Details on his activities and a concert schedule can be found at www.fabioparrini.com.

This lecture will instruct music teachers, who use their voices
extensively every day, how to use them in a healthy manner, thus preserving their voices and modeling good habits for students.
Dr. Lisa Sain Odom currently serves as a voice instructor at Clemson University. She is a soprano who performs throughout the Southeast both as a solo artist and with her soprano trio

Slow-motion Video Analysis of Inefficient Movement at the Keyboard ~ Dr. Dylan Savage
Dr. Dylan Savage, who pioneered slow-motion analysis twenty years ago, will introduce and describe this effective tool for helping pianists solve difficult problem spots in a score.
Participants needed — score samples analysed!
Dr. Savage is a Bösendorfer Concert Artist and records on the Capstone Records label. His writings have appeared in Clavier, American Music Teacher, and Pianoforte magazines and in book form with Heritage Music Press. He is an Associate Professor of Piano at
the University of North Carolina in Charlotte.
